25/01/08 - I appeared on BBC Radio Leicester at 10:10 a.m for an interview concerning my trip. They also intend to follow my progress via satellite phone during my expedition.

15/03/08 - Details of my expedition have been included in the Diabetes U.K newsletter for the Midlands and are to be included in the information sent to all Diabetes U.K members.
